Question #4 How large was the study and how long was the timeframe? The potato chip research involved over 120,000 American men and women who had participated in three previous studies. Each study was conducted for 20 or more years. The quantity of people involved and the length of each study (20 years or more) adds value to this research study’s results. Conversely, when I read a study which involves only a few people and a short time frame, I do not consider it as important as a large study (like the potato chip study).
