Within the last few weeks our friends (RJ and JL) lost JL’s mom who has been living with them and JL’s sister and husband for almost 5 years. They did a great job of caring for “Mom” and often at great expense. They gave up time, energy and freedom to provide a loving home for this 90+ year old lady. Now that she has passed on to her reward, the two couples are making the adjustments needed. They should be proud of what they accomplished: quality time with Mom and excellent quality of care for her. November was National Caregiver’s Month, I salute this family and many more who provide loving care to their family members.
