This is not the first outbreak of
food poisoning in recent years. In fact,
according to http://www.foodsafety.gov/keep/index.html, one in six Americans will get sick from food poisoning
this year. Do we know how to protect
ourselves from microscopic critters (germs, parasites and viruses) which would
make us sick? The FoodSafety.gov web
site provides these tips to help us avoid food poisoning:

Separate—don’t
cross-contaminate

Cook –to the
right temperature
·
Chill—refrigerate
promptly
