Last week we
visited Chicago with our travel buddies, RJ and JL. We rode the Amtrak train and enjoyed that
experience. We acted like tourists as we
visited the Navy Pier, Fine Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium and Museum of Science
and Industry. We walked the Magnificent
Mile. We visited the Willis Tower (formerly
known as Sears Tower). We enjoyed our
vacation.
We try to
de-stress during our vacations. Riding
the Amtrak train was a stress-free mode of travel. Instead of driving our car (and dealing with
parking issues in a city we don’t know), we relaxed in our business class
seats. (Several people had recommended
we pay the few dollars extra to get the roomy business class seats.) We let someone else do the driving.
The picture shows the ferris wheel on the Navy Pier.
