Do you swim in your contact lenses?
It’s summer time and swimming offers great relief from the
hot, sticky, sweltering days. Do you
wear your soft contact lenses while swimming?
According to University of Texas Health Science newsletter, you should
take out those contacts when swimming.
Soft contacts soak up the chemicals, germs and debris in the water. When you rub your eyes, you are rubbing those
substances into your eyes and can cause irritation and infection. This information can be found at http://www.uthealthleader.org/index/article.htm?id=1578154d-5070-4379-aaa7-d8e755a4d351
