We find the gorgeous grounds of the
Radisson Aruba resort to be relaxing.
It’s a true island paradise. Because Aruba is far south (17 miles from
Venezuela, South America), the sunshine is intense. In spite of using sunscreen, I almost got a
sunburn on my shoulders the very first day.
I worked harder at using sunscreen and shade to protect myself from the
sun. We used SPF 50 and reapplied it
often; we wore our sunglasses when outside and we spent time in shady places
which helped block the sun rays.
